Burning Rubber is a novel of push and pull, fast paced thrills, and a little bit of suspense added to the mix. The characters are fun, though a little more background would have made them sparkle even more. The push away/ come back that Callie does with Derrek didn't come with much of an explanation as I'd hoped it would. The sex scenes are hot, not too graphic but enough to make your toes curl. Ms. Britton creates another fun and exiting adventure featuring characters in a racing sport. Overall the story is engaging and riveting.
Do you enjoy sports themed romance books? A hot hero who knows what he wants and goes for it? A shy woman finally turning into a butterfly when she meets a man with genuine interest in her?
